Justin Bieber unveils first look at Tim Hortons ‘Timbiebs’ merch

Three new Timbits flavours — Chocolate White Fudge, Sour Cream Chocolate Chip and Birthday Cake Waffle — go on sale Nov. 29

Justin Bieber’s love for Tim Hortons doesn’t stop at coffee and doughnuts. In addition to the upcoming launch of three new Timbit flavours — dubbed Timbiebs — the Canadian pop superstar will drop a line of co-branded merchandise that will be available at select locations Nov. 29.

“Doing a Tim Hortons collab has always been a dream of mine,” Bieber said in a statement. “I grew up on Tim Hortons and it’s always been something close to my heart.”

Earlier this month, the Peaches singer announced he helped Tims cook up three new ‘Timbiebs’ flavours: Chocolate White Fudge, Sour Cream Chocolate Chip and Birthday Cake Waffle.

But in addition to teaming up for new menu items, Bieber will also extend his fanatical love of the Tims brand to a merch lineup that is emblazoned with a ‘Timbiebs’ logo and includes a cozy beanie, a fanny pack and a tote bag. Each piece will retail for $29.99 and be limited to three items per purchase.

“We had a lot of fun developing the line of Timbiebs merch that we know fans of Tims and Justin are going to want to have,” Hope Bagozzi, chief marketing officer for Tim Hortons, said in a release.

“Justin knows exactly what our guests already love about the Tims brand and he’s helping us deliver new ideas that we know they’re going to love. We’re really looking forward to what’s next.”

The seeds of the collaboration were planted in late 2019 when Bieber ignited a debate on social media about the company’s redesigned lids.

Bieber posted a poll to his Instagram page of an old Tim Hortons cup with the question: “Who’s Canadian and misses these lids at Tim Hortons like I do?” According to his post, 70% of Canadians agreed that the old Tim Hortons cups were better.

Bosses at the chain responded to Bieber, thanking him for his feedback as they insisted they were working to improve the quality of the new lids.

On social media, fans called the upcoming partnership the “greatest collab in history.”

“Finally we have my dream collab between my first love (Justin) and my first coffee love (Tims) yayyy,” one person wrote.
