Andrew Schulz and his team were left scrambling to find another venue for his Infamous Tour, of which his only Canadian dates are in Toronto.

They not only found another venue, but it sold out so fast, more shows needed to be added.

“Massey Hall hit me up a few weeks ago, and they said, ‘Hey we have to cancel your shows!,’” Schulz said in a video.

“’We looked you up, and you tell inappropriate jokes!’” he explained. “’We no longer want inappropriate jokes on our stage, so we have to cancel your shows.’”

We apologize, but this video has failed to load.

Massey Hall did not respond to the Toronto Sun’s request for comment.

Meridian Hall, however, had no issue with Schulz’s comedy. There was some initial hesitation from Schulz and his team about being able to fill the significantly bigger venue, but they soon found out they needn’t have worried.

The comedian’s first show at the venue on Front St. sold out in seven minutes. They added a second show – which sold out in an hour. A third show has since been added.

Schulz’s shows hit Meridian Hall on March 4-5.
