OUTBREAKS of rain, with isolated thunder, are due to hit parts of Britain tonight.
The Met Office reports that patchy rain will affect Scotland particular, with the south east experiencing thunder.
The news comes as health bosses issued an urgent warning to Brits to stay safe on Friday as a scorching 32C heatwave gripped the nation.
It meant the Met Office’s threshold for a heatwave in all three regions had been met – and healthcare services were on high alert to help high-risk groups.
